The 20th China University Swimming Championships and the World University Summer Games swim trails ended on June 1st, in Yangzhou. NEFU swimmers fought tenaciously and won two bronze medals, a fourth place, a fifth place, a seventh place and two eighth places altogether in competition with over 800 athletes from 56 universities including Tsinghua University, Peking University and Fudan University.

To achieve good results in the competition, the NEFU swim team members get trained twice a day with longer hours and higher quality. They get training regardlessof severe cold and heat, injuries or illness. Although they realized that there was a slim chance for them to win medals, they spared no effort in their training, which demonstrates the resilience of NEFUers, and the spirit of a new generation of college students.
