On April 1, the 2021 National Conference ofDirectors of Higher Education was held in Xi’an.At the meeting, thelist of the2020 National Models forHigher Education Office,Directors of Higher Education, andDirectors of Educational Studieswas released.Director Li Mingze ofNEFU was selected asone of thedirectors of Educational Studies of National Model Universities.

This honor symbolizes the Ministry of Education’s affirmation forNEFU’s undergraduate teaching work. In recent years, under the leadership ofNEFU’s party committee and administration, the Office ofTeaching Affairs, by centering on the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and intentional development, hasimplemented theNortheast Forestry University First-class Undergraduate Education Action Plan, deepened the reform of undergraduate education and teaching, and promoted theFourNew (namelynew engineering, new medical science, new agriculture,andnew arts)Construction,Six Excellence and One Top Program 2.0, National Educational System Reform Pilot Project, Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program, Excellent Agricultural Talents Training Program and other professional constructions at all levels. Till now, 19 national first-class undergraduate professional construction sites and19 provincial-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites gained approval; 13 courses were recognized as the first batch of national-level first-class undergraduate courses; 6 projects were awardedasthe nationalNewAgriculturalScience research and reform practice projects, 4 projects were awarded the nationalNew Engineering research and practice projects,and5 projects won theNew Agricultural Science research and reform practice projects in Heilongjiang Province.
