From April 22 to 25, 2021, the 7th National Contest on Logistics Design by University Students (NCLDUS), organized by Beijing Wuzi University, was held in Beijing. It was hosted by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, named and sponsored by Sinotrans Limited, which also providedcase-based learning support. Team XD from our school entered the final and won second prize.

A total of 656 teams from 363 universities across the country qualified for the contest. 349 teams entered the semi-finals after the competitive preliminary round, and 90 teams entered the final through rounds of competition. Under the guidance of Dong Jingfeng, a teacher from the Logistics Engineering Department of the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Team XD’s design of "Leading Data-Driven Algorithm" program was unanimously praised by the experts and judges and won Second Prize. All team members demonstrated the demeanor of NEFUers’-forging ahead, innovation and hard work. The team members are as follows: Xie Mingjiang, Zhou Kangkang and Li Bingbing, Logistics Engineering Major of CET; Cao Jiaping, Industrial Engineering Major of CET and Zhang Peifeng, Computer and Science Technology Major of the College of Information and Computer Engineering.

The National Contest on Logistics Design by University Students is currently the most professional, authoritative and practical competitions in the field of logistics design among university students in China. Since 2006, it has been held seven times. And Team XD is the only team from universities in Heilongjiang Province to enter the final stage in 2021. Relying on schematic design, the competition has effectively trained and improved the practical ability of college students to research and solve problems, which is of great significance to promote the reform of logistics teaching, the close integration of theoretical learning and practical application to meet the actual needs of enterprises, as well as the cooperation between universities and enterprises and the employment of college students.
