Recently, the results of “Higher Education Press Cup” CUMCM 2016 were announced. A total of 31 teams from NEFU won prizes, of which were 10 national level second prizes, 1 provincial level first prize, 10 provincial level second prizes, and 10 provincial level third prizes. The total number of prizes has reached a new record.

The annual CUMCM was founded in 1992. This year, more than 93,000 students in 31,199 teams from 1,367 colleges and universities in 33 provinces, autonomous regions (including Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Region), and Singapore have signed up for the contest. The contest has received great attention and support from dean’s office of NEFU and leaders of the College of Science. The Department of Mathematics selected excellent teachers to conduct systematic counseling on the team, which provided a strong guarantee for good results.
