At present, the "Easy Cup" Heilongjiang Interior Design Competition Awards Ceremony was held at the Harbin Institute of Technology. The selected works from NEFU have gained 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, 1 bronze medal and 3 Excellence Awards in special competition. The teacher ,Zhao Junxue and Gong Yibing , won the title of best instructor from Product Design Department ,the School of Materials Science and Engineering .The NEFU has won the Best Organization Award.

Heilongjiang Interior Design Competition is cosponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee, the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province, Heilongjiang Province Institute of Interior Design and Environmental Design Art Committee of Heilongjiang Artists Association .It is hosted by Heilongjiang EASYHOME Co. Ltd and Heilongjiang Radio Station, which is the highest and top level of design event created by thousands of excellent designers in Heilongjiang province . As the main exhibitors, the works designed by students from NEFU are ingenious and creative and are recognized by the majority of the judges and audience.

The Villa Design of Poly - water Rhyme Long Beach New Chinese Style won gold medal of villa design in the contest ,which was designed by Liu Shujuan, Zhang Lianchuan and Li Jianhui from the 2014 product design major of the School of Materials Science and Engineering; The Showroom Design of BMW MINI 4S shop won the silver medal of designer group, which was designed by the Li Chunbo , the 2015 graduate student of the design science and Liu Shujuan from the 2014 product design major ; The Villa Design of East Lake bay won bronze medal of villa design in the contest ,which was designed by Li Chunbo ,the 2015 graduate student of the design science ,and  Liu Shujuan and Liu Peihua from the 2014 product design major ;The Babylon garden bar won the Excellence Award of leisure space ,which was designed by Xue Zhijianghao and Zhu Yulu from the 2013 product design major;The Interior Design Xupu• Xushui Bund Sales Office won the Excellence Award of commercial space, which was designed by the Dai Lingxi, ,the 2015 graduate student ;The FLOYD Simple Meals Bar won the Excellence Award of display design, which was designed by Qiu Huize from 2013 product design students major.

In another, The Villa Design of East Lake bay designed by Li Chunbo ,the 2015 graduate student of the design science ,and The Interior Design Xupu• Xushui Bund Sales Office designed by Dai Lingxi ,the 2015 graduate studentof art design are selected to take part in the "the 11th Biennale of China international interior design " (Zhao Junxue).
