The 2nd Heilongjiang Forestry Industry Development Cooperation Conference was in in auditorium of Harbin Huaqi Hotel on May, 19.Deputy secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee, Governor Lu Hao attended the meeting, Liu Dongsheng, deputy director of Nation Forestry Administration, gave the opening speech, andvice governorLu Weifengintroduced the related situation to the guests. Delegations from542 enterprises, chambers of commerce and financial institutions, and main leaders in charge ofgovernment departmentsfrom Heilongjiangprovinceattended the meeting.
During the conference , the HeilongjiangForestry Department, ForestryIndustry General Administration, YichunGovernment, HarbinGovernment,Daxinganling Administrative Office, Mudanjiang Government,andNortheast Forestry Universityrespectivelycarried out themepromotionsand introductionsofthetransformationof scientific and technological achievements. Relevant persons in charge of theChinese Academy of Forestry, theNationForestry Administration, theHeilongjiangForestry Department,andJiudingInvestmentdid analysis on the development of the forestry industry, interpreted forestry industry policy, and introduced both theimplementation planof the loan ofnational reserve forest base construction project, and the cooperation project offorestry industry investment funds.

The report expoundedon the practice and theachievementsofNEFUin the development oftheforestry industry from four aspects: functional orientation, core task, system construction and performance.President Yang Chuanping pointed out that NEFU, under the principles of forestry economy and market-orientation, organization, optimization, and integration of the existing foresteconomytechnologyresearch and development resources. The university promotes close integration between scientific research and economic development, and provides an interactive development platform for thetechnological innovation and the transformationof the forestryeconomy, by providingexpert consulting services,enterprise technologydemand and difficulties research, transformation policy and development, science and technology entrepreneurship, personnel training,and other information and services. At the same time, NEFUrelies on theForest Economic Innovation Center to implement the incubator model to support small and medium enterprises.We are presently supporting supported eight companies at present. NEFU also actively cooperates withHarbin Dingxin Bioengineering Co., Ltd. to buildaproduction baseoffood and health care products,andcooperate with Harbin Zhonghe Agricultural Products Market Co., Ltd. to cultivate red peony rootandBanlangen, etc. in 2006, from which the area of cortex dictamni has reached20,000 mu(Chinese unit of area).In cooperation with the Xinqing Forestry Bureau, we havebuilta hanging black fungus demonstration base,and withShuangyashan Tian RunyuanAgricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd., acultivation and demonstration basehas beenbuiltunder the forest economic resources.
In addition, NEFU offered an itinerant exhibition with3D printing products, raspberry functional drinks, nattokinase health care products, nanofiltration membranes, blueberryjuice, blueberry jam, ready-to-eat rice, flavoredmushrooms, pine nuts, deer tendon wine,acarid eliminationmedicine, and MLT, etc.,which were highly acclaimed by the others.Qitaihe, Yichun, Shuangyashan and other related enterprises have expressedtheirintention of cooperation.
