On September 16, the Research and teaching practice base, graduate teaching practice base, and undergraduate practice base of our university was officially established in the 853 Farm located in the Naoli River National Nature Reserve of Heilongjiang province.

Wu Haiquan, Member of the NEFU Standing Committee and Chief Accountant, Dean Zhang Minghai of Wild Animal Resources College, Liu Zhiming, the Deputy Director of the Office of Academic Affairs attended the ceremony.

Liu Yongli, the Director of Forestry Administration of the Hongxinglong Bureau of Heilongjiang Province officiated the ceremony, during which Chief Accountant Wu Haiquan and Vice Director Liu Jinglong of 835 Farm gave speeches respectively. Wu Haiquan highlighted the progress of "double first-class" university construction of NEFU and the basic situation of the Wildlife Resources College. He hoped that the base could promote the personnel training, nature conservation, scientific research, eco-tourism and other aspects,so that both the university and enterprise could see benefits.

The Naoli River National Nature Reserve is located in the territory of the Hongxinglong Bureau and the Jiansanjiang Bureau of Fujin, Baoqing, Raohe and Fuyuan administrative area of Heilongjiang province. With the most beautiful scenery and most prominent wetland characteristics, the Nature Reserve is the most complete protected area of Sanjiang Plain.

In recent years, the management departments of the Nature Reserve have carried out studies on natural resources protection, ecological environment monitoring, scientific research, eco-tourism and other aspects and have made outstanding contributions to regional biodiversity conservation and ecological civilization.
