The First Campus Food Festival was ceremoniously opened at the square in front of Yifengyuan Dining Hall at 11:00 a.m. on Sept.24th. The theme of it was “ A Bite of NEFU, Endless Joy of Food”. The Vice President of NEFU, Li Shunlong, Deputy Secretary of CPC, Chen Wenhui, the Secretary General of Heilongjiang Collaborative Partnership Special Committee and the Deputy Director of Logistics Management Office of Heilongjiang University, An Shubao, leaders and stuff working for diet from seven colleges and universities in Heilongjiang, some people in charge of NEFU Logistics Service Company, College of International Exchange and NEFU Youth League Committee and some teachers and students attended this activity. 

There were 4 areas and 51 exhibition sheds, including the demonstration of “detection equipment”, “raw materials”, “seasons”, “subsidiary food”, “sculpture”, “staple food”, “smoked and pickled food”, “spicy mix vegetables”, “Halal food”, “drinks” and so on. The festival also included some sharing activities, like free tasting, students’ cooking showcase, making dumplings and showcases for overseas students’ cooking. The impromptu song and dance performance organized by students and free tasting foreign food became the unique feature of the festival. This festival has won so much favorable comment from distinguished guests, teachers and students, and is a great festival feast to everyone.
