On November 30, the opening ceremony of the poverty alleviation and sharing factory-operated store of NEFU was held. The store integrates agricultural byproducts with characteristics of Tailai County, and will promote the sales of Tailai products to the whole country by means of live sales. The participants were as follows: Chen Wenhui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of NEFU, Luo Wenhu and Li Fengri, members of the Standing Committee of NEFU Party Committee and Vice Presidents of NEFU, An Jianliang, Deputy Secretary of Tailai County Party committee and County Mayor, Liu Qanglin, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Deputy County Mayor, Zhao Zhixin, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party committee and Head of the County Organization Department, and other poverty alleviation cadres of our school in Tailai.

Over the years, our school has carried out poverty alleviation programs in Tailai through education, science and technology, consumption, donations and so on. The store, with an area of more than 300 square meters, is located in a busy section of Feihe Street in Tailai. It has broadened the sales channels of poverty alleviation products, and will help more poor households escape poverty and become better off, boost industrial upgrading and consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation programs. 30% of the profits of the store will go directly to poverty alleviation programs. Fu Xiaodong, an NEFU official dedicated to the alleviation of poverty in Tailai, said that there are not only rice, coarse cereals and special products of Tailai, but also a special area of "yard economy" dedicated to the display and sale of agricultural products which are planted around the houses of poor households. These products will be sold nationwide online, in addition to selling them onsite in the store. The opening of the store has further deepened the cooperation between NEFU and Tailai County, and will continue to consolidate targeted poverty alleviation measures, constantly innovate targeted poverty alleviation model, and help Tailai County to reach a new level in poverty alleviation.

After the opening ceremony, the school leaders visited eight impoverished elderly party members, including Liu Xiuying, Li Zefu, Ju Zhaofa, Li Wenlong and Liu Yushan,inquired in detail about their physical condition, family and actual difficulties encountered in life, and offered them financial aid to encourage them to firm their confidence in becoming better off as early as possible.An Jianliang expressed his gratitude to NEFU for its great support to the poverty-relief work in Tailai in recent years, and he believed that the county will be better with the help of NEFU.
