The CNKI and Tsinghua University Library have jointly developed the Annual Report for International Citation of Chinese Academic Journals since 2012. Through the big data mining on more than 20,000 international academic journals, it analyzes the international citation status of the Chinese academic journals, and objectively reflects the discourse impact of Chinese academic journals in the field of international academic research. It reports the important journal evaluation indicators such as the total citation frequency (TC), the impact factor (IF) and the influence index (CI) of the Chinese academic journals cited by the international journals. The journals with CI ranking in the top 5% are selected as the Highest International Impact Academic Journal of China, and the top 5-10% of journals are as the International Impact Excellent Academic Journal of China.
TheJournal of Forestry Research (English Version) was first published in 1990. Its editor-in-chief is Professor Li Bin, President of the Northeast Forestry University. It is NEFU’s key cultivated English academic journal. Since the first issue of JFR in 2013 was officially included by SCI, it has developed rapidly with continuously improved international influence (the latest impact factor is 1.689, and located in Q2). In 2019, it was sponsored by the “China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan” Echelon Periodical Construction Project of Seven National Ministries and Commissions. It has now become a key national scientific and technological journal, and is moving towards a world-class forestry academic journal.
