From December 6 to 9, the 2021 China Academic Journal Future Forum was held online. At the forum, the 2021 edition of the World Influence Index Report of Science and Technology Journals (WJCI-2021), the name lists of the 2021 China’s Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals (TOP 5%) and the China’s Internationally Influential Excellent Journals (TOP 5-10%) were released.The Journal of Forestry Research (English Edition)sponsored by the NEFU was selected into District Q1 of WJCI-2021 Forestry General Disciplines, ranking 15/87. Meanwhile, it was reenrolled as the China’s Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals, ranking TOP3%, which is an increase of 10% over 2020.

Recently, the good news of The Journal of Forestry Research (English Edition) keeps pouring in. The case charged by Editor Dr. Zhu Hong was selected as the 2021 China University Science and Technology Journal Construction Demo Case Database • Editorial Case, the monograph written by Dr. Hu Yanbo was selected as the 2021 China University Science and Technology Journal Construction Demo Case Database • Bronze Medal Monograph.

Founded in 1990, the Journal of Forestry Research (English Edition) is an English academic journal cultivated by the NEFU. In 2019, it was selected as the China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan - Echelon Journal. Since its first issue of 2013 was officially included in SCI, the Journal of Forestry Research (English Edition) has developed rapidly and continuously improved its international influence. Now its impact factor is 2.149, and the discipline ranking is 24/67, locating in District Q2.
