Recently, the 20th RoboMaster University Series came to a successful conclusion in Shenzhen. The Ares Robotic League of the NEFU won the second prize of the national confrontation project and the second prize of the national engineering mining project.
The RoboMaster University Series is a robotic competition jointly sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the National Federation of Students and the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, and founded and hosted by Da-Jiang Innovations (DJI). As the world’s first shooting confrontation robotic competition, it has attracted the attention of hundreds of higher universities, nearly a thousand high-tech enterprises, and tens of thousands of technology enthusiasts around the world with its innovative robotic competition methods, shocking audio-visual impact, and fierce and tough competitive style.
The RoboMaster University Series leagues will operate 8 but 7 types of robots, including the infantry robots, hero robot, engineering robot, aerial robot, sentry robots, etc. of which 2 infantry robots and 1 hero robot are to launch ground attacks, while the aerial robot is responsible for the air attack, the dart robot is for the fixed-point attack, the engineering robot is for rescue and bomb collection, while the sentry robot applies AI vision recognition technology to automatically shoot to assist in base defense. The league who takes the lead in destroying the enemy base within 7 minutes will win.
The robotic league of NEFU is organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. The contestants are mainly from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and some are from the School of Information and Computer Engineering, the School of Engineering Technology, the School of Material Science and Engineering, and the School of Transportation. The RoboMaster University Series is conducive to cultivating engineering professionals of multidisciplinary cooperation and interdisciplinary innovation.
