Recently, the Secretariat of the All-China Students’ Federation released the Announcement on “the Selection Result of the Executive Chairman of the All-China Students’ Federation for 2022-2023.” Tong Linao, the Executive Chairman of the Student Union of Northeast Forestry University and a 2019 undergraduate student of Logistics Engineering in the College of Engineering and Technology, was elected and became the only university student elected from Heilongjiang province.

In August 2020, NEFU’s Student Union was elected as a member of the 27th Presidium of the All-China students’ Federation with a unanimous vote at the first plenary session of the 27th Committee of the All-China Federation of Students. According to “the Constitution of the All-China Federation of Students” and other relevant institutional arrangements in accordance with the rotation plan, the NEFU Student Union shall serve as the executive presidential group from September 2022 to August 2023, and select one student to work in the National Student Federation.

In July of this year, the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the grassroots construction department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the secretariat of the National Federation of Schools sent a letter to the Party Committee of the school, asking for assistance in the selection of the executive chairman of the National Federation of Schools in residence for 2022-2023. In accordance with the work requirements, the NEFU Party Committee, the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee and the Provincial Federation of Schools recommended, the National Federation of Schools Secretariat qualification examination, inspection, written tests, interviews and other selection links, and finally identified Tong Linao to work in the National Student Federation.
