In order to encourage faculty members and students to maintain a simple and environment-friendly lifestyle, the General Party Branch of Logistics Service Corporation and the Party Branch of the Security Department jointly launched the activity of “Finding Green Travelers in NEFU”, and altogether 135 people were selected as “Green Travelers”.

In September, in order to advocate a green travel culture and an environment-friendly lifestyle, the Green Travel Awareness Month and the Public Transport Awareness Week were carried out by the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Public Security, the State Administration of Taxation and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. In response to the call, the initiative of “Low-carbon Life and Green Travel” was launched by the General Party Branch of Logistics Service Corporation and the Party Branch of the Security Department, calling on faculty members, while doing epidemic prevention work, to take active actions to be “green travelers in NEFU” and to promote green travel.

The movement has received positive response since the day it was launched. Everyone actively participated in the activity, volunteering to popularize environment-protection knowledge. Green travel in campus has become a common practice, and everyone is leading a green lifestyle to welcome the successful convening of the 20th CPC National Congress.
