On September 19th, Northeast Forestry University held the 2023 Autumn International Education Fair in the Danqing Teaching Building, in pursuit of enhancing the international education, broadening students’ view on the world and meeting students’ needs for international exchanges.
The Fair was divided into ten exhibition areas, including Asia, Europe and other international exhibition areas, United Kingdom, the United States, New Zealand, Canada and other country-specific exhibition areas, an academic background promotion area, an employability enhancement area, an international language enhancement area, and a dual-planning of the postgraduate entrance examination and study abroad exhibition area. The International Educational Fair also invited famous universities to participate, including Johns Hopkins School of Education, University of Southern California, Northeastern University, the University of California, Irvine, University of Birmingham, University of Bath, University of Lancaster, University of Glasgow, City University of London, University of Hertfordshire, Teesside University, University of Queensland, Monash University, Laurentian University, Technical University of Munich Asia and other top universities from around the world.
Many famous international universities and global high-quality educational resources gathered together. Representatives of the famous universities provided students with guides about studying abroad and shared current trend of overseas graduates’ employment, enterprise employment standards and other multidimensional information, giving NEFU students an effective reference for their road to study abroad and professional planning.
The successful holding of the international fair improved cooperation between NEFU and international high-level universities while building an international exchange platform. At the same time, the fair also gave students chances to have face-to-face exchanges with the overseas universities, created a strong international atmosphere and increased the pathways for improving students’ diplomas, employment, and individual development.
