To keep students abreast of the latest information on overseas universities and official admissions news and provide them with a wider range of institutional choices, NEFU initiated the “World Renowned Universities Visit Campus” series of events in 2024. The series kicked off on the evening of March 14, when Mr. Edgar Tai, Admissions Director of the Systems Science Institute at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and Ms. Amy Mu, Project Manager, visited the school for a face-to-face discussion with students.

The National University of Singapore (NUS), ranking 8th in the 2024 QS World University Rankings, is Singapore’s premier university, renowned worldwide. It is a member of AACSB and EQUIS and is part of several prestigious networks including the Association of Asian Universities, Asia-Pacific Association for International Education, International Alliance of Research Universities, Universitas 21, and the Association of Pacific Rim Universities. NUS is globally celebrated for its research in engineering, life sciences and biomedicine, social sciences, and natural sciences.

Mr. Edgar Tai provided detailed insights into the advantages of NUS and the content of their student joint training programs. He also addressed questions from the students, offering pragmatic advice on program selection. His enlightening presentation gave the students a deeper understanding of studying and living at NUS, guiding their plans for studying abroad.

n 2024, NEFU plans to continue the “World Renowned Universities Enter the Campus” series, inviting admissions officers from more leading global universities. These targeted events aim to guide and assist students interested in studying abroad and actively create a platform for students to communicate and interact with overseas universities.
