On the morning of November 17, NEFU officially launched its first “Study Abroad Elite Camp,” with an opening ceremony in Room 703 of Aulin College. The event marked a collaboration between the university and industry to promote the development of internationally competitive talent. Ji Xiaoyan, Deputy Director of NEFU’s International Cooperation Office, and Li Tingchao, General Manager of the Harbin Branch of New Oriental Vision Overseas Consulting Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony. A total of 25 outstanding students were selected for the program, which offers specialized training, including lectures by international professors, career planning workshops, study abroad application guidance, soft skills development, and language proficiency enhancement.
Ji Xiaoyan congratulated all participants at the opening ceremony and thanked the Harbin Branch of New Oriental Vision Overseas for their support. She highlighted that cultivating high-caliber international students with a global perspective and strong competitiveness is one of NEFU’s core educational objectives. Ji encouraged the students to complete all the program’s tasks and requirements successfully, gain admission to their desired universities abroad, excel in their studies, and ultimately contribute to their homeland’s development.
