On October 22nd, the second “Voices Across Four Seas” Sino-Foreign Cultural Exchange Showcase was held at the Heilongjiang University Concert Hall. Li Qiangcheng, a Korean international student at NEFU, gave a remarkable performance of the Chinese song “Believe in Dreams.” His strong vocals showed excellent Chinese skills and reflected the lively, pioneering spirit typical of NEFU students.

The Heilongjiang University Concert Hall was packed. Warm amber lights enhanced the stage’s cultural features, creating a welcoming and lively atmosphere. With gentle, melodic background music, Li confidently stepped onto the stage. His calm presence and self-assured attitude immediately captured the audience’s attention. Performing the Chinese song Believe in Dreams with fluency and depth, he expressed strong emotion and unwavering resolve. His powerful delivery and heartfelt interpretation clearly reflected the spirit of young people who stay resilient and chase their dreams despite obstacles. His performance showcased both his dedication to personal goals and the energetic, uplifting vibe of international youth. The captivating act repeatedly energized the crowd, prompting warm applause and cheers from the audience. “This song is not only a reflection of my own journey in pursuing my dreams, but also a message to all Chinese and international youth that perseverance leads to growth,” Li said after the performance.

The event was jointly hosted by Heilongjiang Daily Press Group and Heilongjiang University, with co-organizers including the Heilongjiang Education Association for International Exchange, the Heilongjiang Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee, and the Heilongjiang Haiyan Chinese-Foreign Cultural Exchange Center. The Heilongjiang Northeast Asia International Communication Center acted as the main organizer. Over 150 international guests from more than 20 countries participated in the showcase. NEFU’s solo performance was featured alongside vocal and dance programs from Harbin Institute of Technology, Heilongjiang University, and other institutions.
