Introduction:
To enrich the cultural activities of the campus, to promote cultural quality education and aesthetic education, to enhance the cultural blend and harmony between ethnic groups, to broaden the horizons and improve the level of artistic appreciation of college students, the NEFU Communist Youth League is going to hold the phase III of NEFU Art Museum and the firstOil Painting Exhibition of North Korean painters of Mudanjiang.
The exhibition has brought together more than 700 paintings from more than 50 outstanding artists in North Korea, including Jin Xiangxun, Jin Zhengzhong, Jin Zhengtai, Li Chunzhi, Jiang Xunying, Li Huazin, Cui Jindan, Jiang Yongzhe and Wen Xiuzhe. All of them are the art masters of North Korea.
The exhibition is divided into two parts, the first part is the famous oil painting exhibition; the second part is shell painting exhibition. Artists create excellence masterpieces with a serene, quiet artistic feature. The trails, the dense woods, the gurgling water, the towering peaks and the roaring sea are full of vitality beneath the painters’ hands. Shell painting is also called the “perpetual painting” which is the elaborate work of famous South Korean art craftsmen.
Whether the snow-capped mountains, the woods and lakes, the simple and sincere North Korean people, or the tranquil rivers as beautiful as poems, or the unyielding struggle against the invasion, they all show the national cultural characteristics of North Korea. North Korea oil paintings get impact from Russian oil paintings, mixed with the French impression style, and thus they gain popularity among the collectors and art lovers.
We look forward to your visit.
