The Northeast Forestry University (NEFU) School ofInternationalEducation andExchangeswas founded in 2009. Initially,the school shared staffwiththeOffice of InternationalCooperationand Exchanges,and wasmainly responsible for the management and servicesfor international students.In 2014,the school became independentand expanded inorganizationalstructurein order tobuild a platform which would integrate resources and promote the University’s global academic influence. The school consists ofanAdmissionsOffice,TeachingAffairsOffice,StudentsAffairsOffice,StudentsServicesOfficeand8 staff members.
As NEFU’s gateway to the world, theSchool ofInternationalEducation andExchangeshas been, since its establishment, dedicated toexploring ways of transnational educational collaboration, and bringing inhigh qualityglobal educationalresources.Presently,there are 353 international students from 57 countries studying at theschool.Through hard work,the school has been making great achievements and has successfully educateda large number of excellent studentsfrom the United States, Canada,GreatBritain, France, Finland, Sweden, Australia, Russia, Argentina, Mongolia, Korea, Japan,Vietnam, Pakistanand other countriesor regions. With the mission ofinheritingthetraditions ofeducational excellence of NEFUwhile at the same timeabsorbingthe essence of modern western higher education,the School of International Education and Exchanges will continue to work to further engage with the academic world andto cultivate high-level talents with aglobal vision.
