From May 12th to 14th, the 2023 Asian International Model United Nations Conference of Peking University (AIMUN2023), hosted by the School of International Studies of Peking University and organized by the Peking University Model United Nations Association, was held at the Peking University Overseas Exchange Center. Liu Daochun and Wang Li from the College of Humanities and Law sent by the NEFU Global Governance Youth Forum Association won the Best Document Writing Award with their excellent negotiation skills and profound knowledge of international relations, showing the elegance of NEFU students.

Since 2007, the conference has been successfully held 14 times and has become a widely influential student event. With the theme of “Sustainable Development”, the conference attracted more than 500 student delegates from more than 100 universities, including Peking University, Tsinghua University and Renmin University of China.During the three days of the conference, students simulated representatives of different countries, debated and negotiated on international hot topics, and contributed their wisdom and voices to address and solve global governance issues.

During the conference, our students fully utilized their knowledge of international relations and diplomatic negotiation skills, and expressed their unique and in-depth opinions on issues related to international health regulations, putting forward constructive opinions and demonstrating a high sense of responsibility and professionalism. In the process of consultation with representatives of other schools, they gave full play to the spirit of teamwork, exchanged ideas, wrote a series of important documents, and made contributions to the smooth running of the conference.
