On the afternoon of August 4, Huawei Micro-module 6.0 Sample Site Release Communication Conference was held in the conference room on the fourth floor of Chengdong Building. Northeast Forestry University would join hands with Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co. to create the world’s first micro-module 6.0 sample site. The micro-module 6.0 sample site will settle in the School of Future Technology of NEFU, which is supported by an ecosystem big data R & D center. The R & D center, after putting into use, will provide technical support for promoting the development of intelligent forestry and local economy, and provide important support to help our university to serve the national Double Carbon goal and ecological civilization construction, and cultivate forestry science and technology professionals.

The conference was sponsored by Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co. and co-organized by Northeast Forestry University. Liu Shouxin, standing member of the Communist Party Committee and Vice President of Northeast Forestry University, and Zhang Bing, Vice President of Huawei Digital Energy China, attended the Communication Conference. Relevant heads from the School of Future Technology of Northeast Forestry University, the Digital Construction Division, Huawei Heilongjiang Representative Office, and nearly 100 data center technology experts from universities, enterprises and institutions in Heilongjiang Province attended the Communication Conference.



Liu Shouxin expressed his gratitude to Huawei, which had long cared about and supported the educational cause, development and construction of the university, and introduced NEFU’s educational history and characteristics, and the development direction of the newly-established School of Future Technology. He pointed out that Huawei Digital Energy had taken advantage of the two fields of digital technology and power electronics to launch the solutions for the intelligent micro-module 6.0, which would greatly help the university’s professional construction and scientific research in forestry, material science, wildlife protection, intelligent forestry, intelligent agricultural and forestry equipment, etc. in the context of big data. Northeast Forestry University, as Huawei's first micro-module 6.0 sample site in the world, would join hands with Huawei to exchange effect in information technology construction and innovation with industrial experts and colleagues on how to realize green, low-carbon, and high-quality development, and contribute to the new future of green arithmetic and the realization of Dual Carbon goal.

At the conference, Li Mingze, Executive Vice Dean of the Undergraduate School of Northeast Forestry University and Executive Vice Dean of the School of Future Technology, shared his thoughts on the construction of the Ecosystem Big Data R&D Center. He said that the Ecosystem Big Data R&D Center would play the role of a platform to serve the national strategic needs, the Double First-class construction of the university, and the future-oriented professional cultivation and scientific research through the research and development of ecological data products, and the improvement of the integrated monitoring capacity of the sky and the land.

Zhang Bing, Vice President of Huawei Digital Energy China, pointed out that Huawei's intelligent micro-module products had been continuously cultivated and developed, and had been applied and recognized in several universities. Huawei Intelligent Micro-module 6.0 would continue to help NEFU rapidly deploy data centers to support the digital transformation of education with more reliable, energy-efficient, and effective technology.

After the conference, the conference participants went to the Ecosystem Big Data R&D Center for a field visit.
