Recently, the “2023 China Intelligent Robot Fighting and Gaming Competition”, sponsored by the Chinese Society for Artificial Intelligence and hosted by the Beijing Institute of Technology, announced its results. NEFU made a remarkable showing, with seven teams from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the School of Computer and Control Engineering reaching the finals. They secured three first prizes, two second prizes, and two third prizes.
The competition’s finals were conducted in a hybrid format, combining online and offline elements. A total of 1,586 teams from 235 renowned universities nationwide, including Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beihang University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Xi’an Jiaotong University, registered to compete. Of these, 218 teams advanced to the finals after the preliminary rounds.
This event showcased NEFU’s teaching prowess and application capabilities in the field of intelligent robotics, as well as our spirit of innovation and exploration. The success in this competition is expected to further ignite enthusiasm and creativity among NEFU students, enhancing their team collaboration and organizational skills.
