The 9th National College Human Resources Innovation and Practice Competition finals were held in Xiong’an New Area, Hebei Province, from November 22 to 24. The Northeast Forestry University (NEFU) team, consisting of 11 students from the School of Humanities and Law, majoring in Political Science and Administration and Law, won the prestigious First Prize in the group competition.
This year’s “Fostering Interdisciplinary Talent for New Productivity Development” competition aimed to promote education, learning, employment, and industry-academia integration. It also aligned with the “New Era Talent Development Strategy” by encouraging the practical application of human resources expertise. After fierce competition among 345 universities across seven regional divisions, over 1,000 students from 100 universities, including Renmin University of China, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Nankai University, advanced to the finals to compete in seven specialized tracks.
In the competition's seven tracks, NEFU students delivered outstanding performances: "Practical Design" Track: Qiao Runtong, Zhang Ziyang, and Zhao Wenjing won the Special Prize. "Leaderless Group Discussion" Track: Wang Zhikuan also secured the Special Prize. "Digital HR Operations" Track: Tian Chengshen, Zhang Yiwen, and Meng Xinrui earned the First Prize and Advanced Certificate in Digital HR Management Skills. "Workplace Simulation" Track: Tian Simeng won the First Prize. "Labor Dispute Resolution" Track: Wang Zikang received the Second Prize. "Case Analysis" Track: Zhao Yuze achieved the Second Prize. "HR-English" Track: Zhou Xin was awarded the Second Prize. In recognition of their exceptional guidance, Associate Professor Wang Qingsong and Lecturer Wang Guohong were honored with the title of “Outstanding Advisors.”
Participating students shared that the competition provided a valuable platform to "enhance their skills, expand their expertise, and grow professionally." It strengthened their workplace mindset, business acumen, and professional abilities, laying a solid foundation for their future careers and development.
