This year’s competition attracted many participants, with over 170,000 students registering from 29 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China and nearly 25,000 projects submitted. Under the theme “Integration and Innovation for Empowerment, Practice for New Achievements,” the competition emphasized the crucial connection between the content of liberal arts programs and the practical problems facing society. It guided students to use their specialized knowledge to solve concrete, real-world issues, thereby improving the valuable and innovative capabilities that will allow them to serve in professional roles directly. The organization of this competition has injected significant energy into constructing a new, modern system of liberal arts education, vigorously promoting the deep integration and collaborative advancement of liberal arts education and socio-economic development.
Building on the momentum of the New Liberal Arts Innovation Practice Competition, NEFU will undertake new explorations in practical teaching, establish new platforms to support student growth and enhance students’ practical skills. We remain committed to the ongoing innovative development of liberal arts education, aiming to cultivate a more significant number of highly qualified talents equipped with both a creative spirit and practical abilities to contribute to the economic and social development of Heilongjiang Province.
