From June 7th to 9th, after three days of intense competition, the 10th Chinese University Rugby Sevens Championship concluded successfully at the Taishan Sports Stadium in Tai’an, Shandong Province. NEFU’s team achieved third place in the women's division and tenth place in the men’s division.

The competition was divided into two groups, A and C, and brought together 32 teams from 25 universities nationwide, with nearly 500 participants. Our rugby team, founded in 2015, has won multiple championships in provincial competitions. This was the first time our team participated in a national-level competition. NEFU sent 24 players, including 12 men and 12 women.

During the intense competition, our players fought bravely, cooperated seamlessly, and supported each other. With their tenacious perseverance and determination, the women’s team secured third place in the women’s division by defeating Liaoning University of Science and Technology with a score of 29:5. In contrast, the men’s team finished in tenth place in the men's division.
