The college offers four undergraduate programs: Forestry (which includes Forestry and Forest Protection), Geographic Information Science, and Environmental Science. The Forestry and Forest Protection programs are recognized as National Characteristic Majors and are part of the National Outstanding Agriculture and Forestry Talent Education and Training Program. Both programs are designated National First-Class Undergraduate Program Construction Sites, while Geographic Information Science is acknowledged as a Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Program Construction Site. The college maintains a comprehensive academic degree system, featuring one doctoral degree authorization point at the first level (Forestry), one master’s degree authorization point at the first level, one professional doctoral degree authorization point (Forestry), and two professional master's degree authorization points (Resource Utilization and Plant Protection; Resources and Environment). Forestry has been selected as a “Double First-Class” Construction Discipline in China’s national initiative.
The college currently enrolls 2,882 students, comprised of 1,076 undergraduates and 1,806 graduate students, including 174 international students. The undergraduate-to-graduate student ratio is approximately 1:1.8.
The college has consistently pursued reforms and innovations in talent cultivation, achieving notable success with two National Teaching Achievement Awards to its credit.
