Our Master’s degree in Agriculture, specializing in Animal Husbandry, emphasizes scientific research and talent development in animal science and veterinary medicine, particularly regarding livestock and poultry production, as well as wildlife rescue and breeding. It highlights this field’s unique attributes and research benefits compared to animal husbandry and veterinary programs offered at other agricultural universities. In alignment with China’s new strategic agricultural framework, we aim to enhance scientific research, technology applications, and talent development in wildlife protection, specialized livestock and poultry production, and disease prevention and control. This approach strengthens the integration of ecological protection principles with talent development in wildlife rescue and breeding. Ultimately, it seeks to improve national health sectors, including wildlife protection, specialized animal husbandry, and the ecological economy.
This field has the strongest teaching staff and laboratory hardware conditions in the comprehensive strength of domestic wildlife protection, special livestock & poultry breeding, and disease prevention and control. There are currently 32 master’s supervisors, including 10 professors and 18 associate professors. The leaders and key teachers in this field have profound academic achievements and high industry influence in special livestock and economic wildlife. We have a comprehensive talent training curriculum and teaching system, a good training environment, and research conditions, ensuring the quality of talent training in this field.
