On January 20, 2021, Northeast Forestry University established the Aulin international Graduate Institute of Northeast Forestry University (Aulin IGI, NEFU), which is under the management of the Institute of Science and Technology and relies on the Aulin College to carry out joint postgraduate training, overseas faculty training and international scientific research cooperation. On March 30 of the same year, the university was approved by the Ministry of Education for the "Innovative Practice Project for High-level Internationalized Talent Training", and the base class project students' selection, training, management, and dispatch are implemented through the Aulin College.
