The college maintains comprehensive teaching and research platforms, including the National Model Worker and Staff Innovation Studio for Education, Science, Culture, Health, and Sports Systems, Heilongjiang Provincial Chinese Classical Furniture Engineering Technology Research Center, Heilongjiang Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Base, and Ice-Snow Ecology Research Base.

The Heilongjiang Provincial Chinese Classical Furniture Engineering Technology Research Center, established in 2013 and officially approved by Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology in 2018, was recognized as Heilongjiang Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Base in 2021 by the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. It obtained the Heilongjiang Provincial Model Worker and Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio in 2022. The China Education, Science, Culture, Health, and Sports Trade Union designated it as the National Model Worker and Staff Innovation Studio in 2023. Equipped with over 100 sets of advanced processing equipment, including CNC carving machines, 3D scanners, and furniture design ergonomic systems, the center has established complete furniture production lines and cutting-edge scientific research platforms.

Aligned with China's furniture industry development and cultural creative sector demands, the center integrates traditional Chinese woodcraft techniques with modern industrial systems and digital technologies. It focuses on inheriting historical craftsmanship while systematically researching core technical parameters of classical wooden furniture production, including material processing, structural design, surface finishing, and assembly techniques. The center develops proprietary furniture products, cultural creative items, digital solutions, and advanced manufacturing technologies, providing comprehensive technical services such as wooden furniture restoration, processing optimization, and product R&D. Through industry collaboration, it promotes the industrialization of digital manufacturing technologies for traditional Chinese furniture and popularizes woodcraft culture, aiming to enhance manufacturing standards and product quality in China's rosewood and neo-Chinese style furniture industries, while contributing to China's 2035 cultural power strategy.
